About the project
SampoDialogi is an author Internet project of Alina Hämäläinen (Espoo, Finland) and
Tatjana Bykova-Soitu (St. Petersburg, Russia). The central theme of the website SampoDialogi
is spreading of regenerated culture of jewelry Finno-Ugric traditions of IX-XII centuries - Sampo-art jewelry.
According to the Karelian-Finnish epos «Kalevala», Sampo is a magic mill of happiness.
In Kalevala, you can find the following lines:
